As you know Mildenhall is a wonderful place in which to live, work and bring up a family, but there is a serious problem locally - the amount of traffic in town. Mildenhall is growing, which is a positive thing for growing local families, but our roads need to cope
Whilst we have been successful over the years in getting improvements – from the dualling of the A11 a decade ago, to the traffic lights at the Fiveways roundabout more recently, there is still more to do. Given their success, I am also proposing additional traffic lights on the Fiveways roundabout at the Brandon Road (A1065) to help assist with the flow of traffic. Furthermore, there has been the proposal of putting a relief road south of the town to try to take off some of the pressure, and pushing for a proper “grade separated” junction at Fiveways with a flyover.
As your local MP it is very important that I hear from you to get your thoughts on this subject and any other topic of local concern so I can best represent you in Parliament. I want to hear about your suggestions on how to make Mildenhall an even better place in which to live.
