I’ve worked hard over many years to support all schools in West Suffolk. I applaud the success of the Samuel Ward Academy which has been rated “Outstanding” in its two most recent Ofsted inspections, thus paving the way for the Samuel Ward Academy Trust to join forces with Castle Manor Academy and Newmarket Academy to ensure the same excellent standards in education across Haverhill and Newmarket. I am delighted that Newmarket Academy has recently been awarded a “good” rating by Ofsted. Through the hard work and dedication of the staff it went from an “inadequate” rating to a “good” rating in three short years. And there is further good news - Churchill Special Free School in Haverhill was awarded and “Outstanding” rating in its most recent inspection.
