Business 15 of my Great Business Tour is Meat at the Village Stores in Ixworth. Meat at the Village Stores produce quality meat from Norfolk and Suffolk. I visited with John Griffiths, Borough Councillor for Ixworth.

Business 16: The Rising Sun

Business 16 of my Great Business Tour is The Rising Sun in Mill Hill. The Rising Sun is a picturesque 17th century pub and restaurant providing excellent traditional food near Mill Hill and Totteridge. I was met by the charming owners, Amanda and Roberto Delnevo and I heard loud and clear how important business rate relief is to them. I visited with Matthew Offord, PPC for Hendon.

Business 17: Day of the Raj

Business 17 of my Great Business Tour is Day of the Raj in Mill Hill. Day of the Raj is an award winning Indian restaurant run by a family who have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. I visited with Matthew Offord, PPC for Hendon and we discussed business rates and employment. I would definitely recommend.

Business 18: The Shop

Business 18 of my Great Business Tour is The Shop in Mill Hill. I visited with Matthew Offord, PPC for Hendon and we were told in no uncertain terms that we must not abandon the economic plan.

Business 19: Post Office

Business 19 of my Great Business Tour is the Post Office in Mill Hill. I was met by the charming owner and together we talked about the need to reform business rates, as well as issues of employment. I visited with Matthew Offord, the superb champion for the people of Hendon.

Business 20: The Polish Bakery Ltd

Business 20 of my Great Business Tour is the Polish Bakery in Park Royal. They are the oldest Polish Bakery in the UK who’ve built their business out of great Polish bread. We discussed employment and parking spaces, and I was given a delicious selection of breads to take home.

Business 21: India Jane

Business 21 of my Great Business Tour is India Jane in Park Royal. India Jane is a classic and timeless interiors brand dedicated to delivering originality. This morning we spoke about how important broadband is to their business and there was a clear message not to abandon the economic plan.

Business 22: Parc Pantry

Business 22 of my Great Business Tour is Parc Pantry in Newport. Parc Pantry is a new award-winning coffee shop in Newport founded on the ideas of local, fresh and good quality products. I visited with Newport West candidate Nick Webb, and we were welcomed by the brilliant entrepreneur Matt Ellis, who established Parc Pantry 7 months ago with his childhood friend Ant Cook. They have created 12 jobs since opening late last year. Thanks for a great lunch.

Business 23: Book-ish

Business 23 of my Great Business Tour is Book-ish in Crickhowell. Book-ish is a charming independent bookshop in the heart of Crickhowell. I was warmly welcomed by the brilliant owner and campaigner Emma Corfield-Walters, who has such a passion for independent shops.

Business 24: Grenfell’s & Sons

Business 24 of my Great Business Tour is Grenfell’s & Sons Grocers in Crickhowell. Grenfell’s is a family run business in the middle of Crickhowell. I visited with Chris Davies, and we spoke about helping protect businesses against the big brands.
