Matt Hancock MP was today formally presented with a trophy from the British Heart Foundation after being crowned the fastest MP to complete its racing game at the Conservative Party Conference.
Matt took time out of his hectic conference schedule last month to meet with representatives from the charity to talk about its aims and play a game which helped raise awareness of the work they carry out.
Commenting, Matt said:
“I am very pleased to have won this trophy and to accept it today. I continue to receive many emails on the subject of heart disease and about the work of the British Heart Foundation, so it was useful to speak to them in person at the event and earlier this afternoon when being presented with this award.
I also took the opportunity to enquire about the use of defibrillators, and the support we can get to ensure there are enough publically available locally. I would strongly encourage local community groups to make use of this excellent initiative by visiting the Heart Foundation’s website at https://www.bhf.org.uk/defibsdh”.
